The sea that floats in the sky makes the world farther and deeper.
The horizontal or horizon (far) and the vertical (deep) orient our sense of place and pose the dilemma of boundaries - they constitute a crossing of balance and stability of the body in the world.
The earth seems still. Our sense of motion depends upon the slippage of waters.
